Responsibilities:

• Implement, enhance and manage security tools and technologies that support the mission to identify and protect Zoom IT assets, detect security incidents, and rapidly respond and recover;
• Document security tools and systems, train Security Operations staff on tool use, support the day-to-day SecOps staff in the security mission;
• Develop and publish metrics and dashboards demonstrating security posture and event activity; and
• Perform system administration tasks necessary for security tool platform maintenance, typically on Linux based systems.

What we're looking for:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent;
• Must have 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 3 years of experience in Detection Engineering with SIEM engineering, data engineering, SIEM administration, Analytics;
• Must have 3 years of experience in Data Pipeline management including experience with Apache Kafka, AsyncMQ and pipeline scalability;
• Must have 3 years of experience in operating systems specifically in Linux and other flavors of Linux;
• Must have 3 years of experience in infrastructure that include servers, network devices; and
• Must have 3 years of experience in Apache foundation technologies.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
